School was great today -- I finished Cabin Faced West and tomorrow I get to start a new book that will probably be good since all the others have been good except for one. Some things about me: I am 9 years old, I like air soft (even though my momma hates it), I have one brother, a sister and a dog named Oscar. I have too many cousins to count....but I love to play with them, especially if I get to go to Aunt Karen's pool!!!
My dad goes to work each day, at least he says he's at work....and my mom stays home and teaches me and my brother and sister.
My favorite TV shows are The Cosby Show, Arthur and The Electric Company and Fetch with Ruff Ruffman, but I have to finish school each day to watch them or if my mom is REALLY nice and lets me take a break!
In my school journal today I wrote about my favorite Bible verse which is John 3:16. I think it's my favorite Bible verse because God sent His only Son to die for us.
I also got to watch a movie for school today!! It was about Pocahontas and how she saved John Smith's life. I thought the only thing that taught me about it was the book, but the movie had a lot more things than the book did. See, when you homeschool you somtimes get to have fun while doing your schoolwork!
That's enough for today -- my mom has been typing for me until I learn how to type myself!!
